Professional Headshots for Women at the WORTH Summit in Vancouver
There’s something powerful about being in a room filled with ambitious, driven, and inspiring women. And when you mix that energy with the opportunity to provide professional headshots for women, magic happens. That’s exactly what I experienced at the WORTH Leadership Summit in Vancouver. I had the privilege of photographing 170 attendees in one record-breaking day!
What is the WORTH Summit?
The WORTH Summit is not your average business conference. It’s a powerful, one-day event hosted in Vancouver, BC. WORTH is designed for women ready to break through limiting beliefs and grow their businesses or careers. It’s also a place to build real connections with a community of driven, like-minded leaders. Men are welcome too and encouraged to attend. WORTH values men who support women and want to learn from the stories they share. Out of the 170 headshots I photographed, 5 men received headshots.
With keynotes from powerhouse speakers, practical workshops, and space for real connection. WORTH attracts women from across industries who are committed to leading with courage and authenticity. Their tagline says it all: “We don’t play small. Neither should you.”
Photographing headshots at the WORTH Summit felt like walking into a celebration of everything I care about in business—community, authenticity, and bold leadership.
Why Conference Headshots Matter
Most people don’t show up to conferences expecting to get a new corporate headshot. When people see a buzzing energy at the professional event headshot photo booth, everybody wants new headshots. I bring my headshot studio to events and conferences. Bringing professional studio lighting to you. I offer expert posing tips and a great experience where they get to take home a powerful marketing tool.
Conference headshots have become one of my favourite services because of the immediate value they bring. Headshots elevate LinkedIn profiles, websites, or speaking bios. For many of the women at WORTH, this wasn’t just about getting a new photo. It was about finally being seen.
A Record-Breaking Day of Professional Headshots for Women
Photographing 170 people in one day was no small task, but every single moment was worth it (pun intended). We had a tight schedule, and each woman only had a few minutes in front of the camera—but that didn’t stop us from making those moments count.
I treated each session like it was the only one that day. That meant giving quick but impactful coaching on posing, offering personalized tips on how to look confident in front of the camera, and making sure everyone felt seen and celebrated.
Here’s what a few attendees had to say:
“I had such a fantastic time with Rob at the WORTH Leadership Summit! He’s super friendly and really engaging, which made the whole experience enjoyable. While he was taking my headshots, he shared loads of helpful tips that made a big difference. The final images turned out so natural and polished, and they really capture who I am. I can’t recommend him enough if you’re looking for a professional photographer!”
That’s the kind of feedback that keeps me going. Because yes, we’re taking pictures—but we’re also boosting confidence, celebrating identity, and helping women show up in the world the way they want to be seen.
Fast, Fun, and Empowering
If there’s one thing I pride myself on, it’s making people feel comfortable quickly. You don’t need to be a model or have any experience in front of the camera. I’ll guide you through everything—from what to wear for your headshots, how to stand, what to do with your hands, and how to find your best angle. The vibe is always upbeat, supportive, and honestly, pretty fun.
“The best headshot experience in my career! Such great coaching on pose. So fun and quick and I LOVE my photos.”
I hear that kind of thing a lot, and it means everything. Especially in an environment like WORTH, where many women are showing up for themselves in a big way—launching businesses, climbing the corporate ladder, or stepping onto bigger stages in their careers. A great headshot is more than just a photo. It’s a tool for showing the world who you are.
How I Photographed 170 Headshots
Photographing 170 professional headshots for women doesn’t just happen by luck. It took careful planning, a streamlined process, and a commitment to excellence.
We set up a mini headshot studio right at the venue with controlled lighting and a clean, professional backdrop that worked for everyone. I worked with the event organizers to create a smooth sign-up and flow system so we could keep the momentum going all day. And thanks to my background in photographing high-volume corporate headshots, I was able to maintain quality while working at speed.
Everyone got same-day previews, quick edits, and downloadable files delivered straight to their inboxes within seconds. No fuss, no waiting around, just great photos—fast.
Why Headshots Matter for Women in Leadership
One of the biggest things I took away from the WORTH Summit is just how many women are stepping into leadership, owning their voices, and showing up with intention. Professional headshots for women play a big part in your personal brand. It does not matter if you are self-employed or you are an employee. Everybody has a personal brand.
When someone Googles you, checks out your LinkedIn profile, or sees you listed as a speaker—it’s your headshot that makes that first impression. It needs to feel like you. Confident. Capable. Authentic.
“Rob takes great professional headshots. He guides your posing and makes you feel comfortable!”
My ability to make people feel comfortable in front of the camera is the secret sauce to a good headshot photo. You receive a headshot you want to share and post. Authenticity and professionalism make a great headshot photo.
Partnering with Conferences to Elevate the Attendee Experience
If you’re an event organizer or company planning a summit, adding a corporate headshot photo booth is one of the easiest ways to deliver real value to your attendees. Everyone walks away with something tangible, and it elevates your event’s professionalism in a big way. The gift of headshots is far more valuable than typical tradeshow swag. People will use their headshots for years and every time they see their headshot, they will remember the conference and the brand sponsor.
WORTH understood this, and I’m so glad we got to partner on something that aligned with their mission to help women step into their power.
I’d love to see more events in Vancouver follow WORTH’s lead and include conference headshots as part of their offerings—especially when the event is about growth, visibility, and leadership.
Wrapping Up
Photographing 170 incredible women at the WORTH Leadership Summit was a career highlight. Not just because it was a personal record-breaker, but because of what it represented—connection, empowerment, and visibility.
I believe in the power of photography to help people own their stories, and I’m especially passionate about providing professional headshots for women who feel authentic, strong, and full of personality.
