I want to help with the devastating Wildfires in the Okanagan so I am organizing an Express Corporate Headshot Day where I will be donating 30% of the revenue generated. For one day only, I am offering express headshot sessions at my photo studio in East Vancouver on September 2nd, 2023. Where will the donation money go?
I will be donating 30% of all revenue generated from the Express Corporate Headshot Day to the BC Wildfire Recovery Fund. If I am able to book 15 people in for headshots, the total donation will be $1125. So if you have been dragging your feet and in need of a new headshot, now is the time!
When?
The Express Headshot day is on September 2nd, 2023. Available headshot appointments are available from 8 am until 8 pm.
Where?
The mini headshot sessions will take place at my photography studio in East Vancouver. The address is 1394 Kingsway.
How Much Does It Cost?
Each time slot is $250+gst. This is your opportunity to get a high-quality, professional headshot and give back to your community!
What do I get?
Each session is 20 minutes long. We are able to shoot 2 different backgrounds or do one very quick wardrobe change. Included in the express headshot session is a personal client photo gallery where you are able to download all of the high-resolution images without a watermark. One fully retouched image is included in your session. Additional edited images ordered within September will be 50% off the normal price, for a total of $25 per edit.
What to expect?
Please arrive for your express headshot session no earlier than 5 minutes. If you do arrive early, my studio is above an amazing coffee shop Pallet Coffee. Please grab yourself a coffee and a treat. When you arrive, I will welcome you in and we’ll start shooting immediately as time is limited. I am easygoing and love to have fun which will translate into your headshot session experience. I will guide you through the process and help bring out the poses and expressions that best showcase who you are. My goal is to give you amazing images without the stress!
Will Hair and Makeup be Available?
No. Please arrive camera-ready. However, I do recommend a few hair and makeup artists that I regularly work with for headshot clients. Ksenia or Demi. Please feel free to contact Ksenia or Demi for all your headshot hair and makeup needs!
What Do I Wear?
For your headshots, wear something you would wear to meet a new client! If you are a business professional and wear a suit and tie, wear a suit and tie. If you have a casual job and tee-shirts, wear a tee-shirt. Make sure to show up camera-ready for wardrobe too. We will not have time on the headshot day to do a wardrobe consult as I do in a regular headshot session.
What Should I NOT Wear?
As a general rule, avoid graphics, logos, bold patterns or over-saturated vibrant colours. Headshots need to show off your face, not your wardrobe. For more information please check out Rob’s blog post on what to wear to your headshot session.
